Aapki-Yojana Aapki-Sarkar: DC inspects camp, government schemes reach grassroot level

Jamshedpur: Under Aapki-Yojana Aapki-Sarkar Aapke-Dwar’ a pioneering initiative to bring government schemes directly to the people, Deputy Commissioner  Manjunath Bhajantri took charge of the camp organized in Hurlung Panchayat of Jamshedpur Sadar Block. The camp, running from November 24th to December 26th, witnessed active participation from villagers eager to avail themselves of various government schemes.

Today’s camp, spread across 8 panchayats and 1 municipal body of 8 blocks, aimed to connect villagers with government schemes and encourage their active participation. Bhajantri personally inspected all the stalls set up in the camp, gaining insights into the applications received and directing officials to provide detailed information to the villagers.

During the inspection,  Manjunath Bhajantri noticed a large gathering at the stall for the Abua Housing Scheme. In response, he directed officials and personnel not to leave the camp until all villagers’ applications were collected. Recognizing the need for housing among those without land, he assured them of acquiring land through endowment for house construction.

The Deputy Commissioner actively engaged with the people, providing information on government schemes and distributing assets among beneficiaries. He particularly encouraged financially disadvantaged 10th and 12th pass students to apply for the Guruji Credit Card Scheme. Bhajantri highlighted various schemes such as Chief Minister Livestock Development Scheme, Chief Minister Employment Generation Scheme, Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana, and Phulo Jhano Ashirwad Yojana, urging villagers to take advantage of these opportunities.

Expressing the goal of providing information and benefits through such programs,  Manjunath Bhajantri instructed departmental officers and workers at the stalls to guide villagers in filling out applications. He personally interacted with applicants, inquiring about the entry process in the portal.

The Panchayat level camp offered a range of services under the Guarantee of Service Act, including caste certificates, income certificates, social security schemes, universal pension, and e-shram portal registration for workers in the unorganized sector. Additionally, applications were accepted for pending cases of land surveyors, execution of filed-dismissal cases, and issuance of rent receipts in disputed cases. Bhajantri emphasized the need for widespread awareness regarding public welfare schemes among the common people.

The camp marked a collaborative effort to bridge the gap between government schemes and the grassroots, ensuring that the benefits reach those who need them the most.

The Deputy Commissioner said that the objective is to provide information and benefits of schemes to people through such programs. The departmental officers and workers present at all the stalls were instructed to guide the villagers in filling the applications. While checking the applications received, he also talked to the applicants and asked the personnel present about the process of entry in the portal.
