A K Dubey assumes charge as AGM of South Eastern Railway

Kolkata, June 20: A K Dubey has recently assumed the role of Additional General Manager at South Eastern Railway, Garden Reach, Kolkata, taking charge on June 17, 2023. Prior to his new appointment, Dubey served as the Principal Chief Engineer at Eastern Railway. He belongs to the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) of the 1986 Exam Batch.

Dubey holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (now IIT, BHU). He further pursued his M.Tech. in Structures from IIT Delhi. Throughout his illustrious career, he has held various positions and served in different capacities in divisions such as Dhanbad, Mughalsarai, Danapur, and the East Central Railway after its formation in 2002.

Possessing extensive experience in construction projects, Dubey has successfully completed approximately 170 kilometers of new line and doubling work as the Chief Engineer of Construction in the East Central Railway. His notable accomplishments include overseeing the commissioning of Mega Rail-cum-Road Bridges in Patna and Munger. Before his current appointment, Dubey served as the Divisional Railway Manager in Bikaner and also worked as the Executive Director Civil Engineering (G) at the Railway Board. Apart from his professional achievements, Dubey has a keen interest in sports and actively participates in social welfare activities. His multifaceted contributions reflect a well-rounded personality dedicated to both his professional responsibilities and community engagement.
