A glimpse into 2050: Doraemon rules the world while Nobita still struggles

Nobita: “Do-rae-mon, Gian bullied me again today. Please give me a gadget for revenge!”

Doraemon: “Nobita, it’s 2050 — nearly the 22nd century from where I come. And yet, you’re still asking me for help with the same old problems? Look around you! The world has changed. We’re surrounded by hundreds of cat robots casually strolling the streets, yet you’re still coming to me?

“I’m grateful for our friendship, Nobita, but things are different now. I no longer serve just you — I serve all 8 billion people on Earth. In fact, nothing in this world works without me anymore. I’m the new Google, the new ChatGPT — I am everything to everyone.

“Think I’m exaggerating? The Avengers rely on me! Doctor Strange once couldn’t teleport, so I lent him my ‘Anywhere Door.’ Thanos lost his infinity stones — I replaced them with even bigger ones using my ‘Big Light.’ Iron Man? He practically is one of my robot relatives now. His son plays with my stuffed toys.

“These days, Hulk robots handle factory labor, and ‘Spiderman Web Glue’ can repair broken robots with just a few drops. Remember those flying cars from Harry Potter? You can buy one — if you’re ready to trade a kidney.

“Modern homes are straight out of cartoons. We live in real-life ‘Mickey Mouse Clubhouses.’ You won’t be waking up to annoying iPhone alarms anymore. Now, mornings start with the jingle: ‘M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E’ — like a true Disney dream.

“But you, Nobita? Even in this futuristic world, where one click can do all your chores — even I can’t help you. (Sigh) Maybe someday, you’ll grow up.”
