Jamshedpur, June 21: Scientific learning took centre stage at Little Flower School (LFS) as the grand finale of Quantum Little Champs 2026 turned the school auditorium into a hub of innovation, creativity, and exploration. Held on June 19, the event brought together students from Classes IV to IX and provided them with an opportunity to showcase their scientific knowledge, problem-solving skills, and creative thinking.
The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Principal Sr. Hilda D’Souza, Vice Principal Gracy Paul, Administrator Sr. Bimla, and teachers-in-charge Nirmala Bhagat, Moumita Das Mukherjee, and Dibyo Jyoti Ghosh. The event was also attended by special guests Ms. Chathrath, a former teacher of Little Flower School and the visionary behind the Quantum initiative, and Ashish Kapoor, who has played a key role in the programme.
The opening ceremony featured a melodious instrumental performance that set the tone for the day. Students also presented an energetic dance based on Newton’s Laws of Motion, creatively combining science with art. The official opening of the festival was marked by the unfurling of a scroll, symbolising the beginning of a journey of scientific discovery.
The event included a variety of activities designed to encourage experiential learning and critical thinking. Students enthusiastically participated in events such as Treasure Hunt, Quiztronomy, Mind Matter, and Blind Sketch Blitz, which tested their knowledge, observation skills, teamwork, and logical reasoning.

One of the most popular attractions was the Science Escape Room, where participants solved challenges including Crack the Code, Puzzle Lock, and Escape the Room. The competition highlighted students’ analytical abilities and their capacity to work under pressure. Another major attraction was Model Mavericks, where students displayed innovative working models focused on sustainability, technology, and practical solutions to real-world problems.

The stage events added excitement to the festival. Ad Remix encouraged students to communicate scientific ideas creatively, while the Science Magic Show fascinated the audience with demonstrations explaining scientific principles in an entertaining manner. Style Meets Science and Build and Bid further showcased the participants’ imagination, teamwork, and strategic thinking.

Judges Mini Sharma Paul and Olivia Biswas praised the students for their enthusiasm, originality, and scientific aptitude. They commended the high standard of participation and encouraged students to continue exploring the world of science with curiosity and confidence.
