933 Jusco employees to get LTC benefit

Jusco management and union enter three year agreement

Jamshedpur: An agreement on leave travel concession (LTC) was entered between Jusco management and Jusco Shramik Union on Thursday. Under the agreement, the eligible workers would get a benefit of Rs 6000 in the first year (2016-17) and Rs 6500 in the second year (2018-19). Altogether 933 employees would be benefitted by the agreement which would be effective from 1st January 2016 to 31st December 2019.
As per the new agreement, flat benefits of Rs 6000 and Rs 6500 in the LTC would be given to T series, JS and JW employees on the basis of their basic salary. So far the employees were given a flat amount of Rs 15,000 as LTC benefit. The next agreement on the allowance would be pending from 1st January 2020.

Employee to get guesthouse facility in Haridwar
As per the LTC agreement, JSS and JW series employees of Jusco would be eligible to avail the benefit of company guesthouse in Haridwar after April 2018. The employees have also been availing the guesthouse benefit in Puri (Odisha).

TBEM report arrives, bonus hike likely
Jusco has received Tata Business Excellence Model (TBEM) report for the month of December. Sources said a score of 593 has been obtained under TBEEM. The bonus amount given to the employees would be based on this score. Had the TBEM score been 600, the employees would have been eligible to get Rs 49 lakh under the bonus head. But now the amount is expected to be between Rs 40 lakh and Rs 45 lakh.
