739 schemes worth Rs 479.69 cr inaugurated in Jamshedpur

Assets worth over Rs 14 cr distributed among beneficiaries

Jamshedpur, Dec. 29: On the occasion of completion of one year of the present government in the state, a district level development fair cum asset distribution ceremony was organised at Ravindra Bhavan (Tagore Academy), Sakchi on Tuesday, December 29.

Live telecast of the state level program held at Ranchi’s Mohrabadi Ground was displayed through LED screen at the venue after which district level program began. Ghatsila MLA Ramdas Soren, Jugsalai MLA Mangal Kalindi, Bahragora MLA Sameer Mohanty, Potka MLA Sanjeev Sardar, DC Suraj Kumar, SSP M Tamil Vanan, District Forest Officer Mamta Priyadarshi, DDC Parmeshwar Bhagat jointly inaugurated the program. On the occasion booklet reflecting achievement of the East Singhbhum district was released.

Ghatsila, Jugsalai, Baharagora and Potka MLA were present as guests on the occasion. 30 stalls of various departments informed the citizens about welfare schemes of the government.  739 schemes worth Rs 479.69 crores were inaugurated online while foundation stone for 10 schemes worth Rs 39.95 crores were laid.  Assets worth Rs 14.762 crores were distributed among 20,219 beneficiaries. The administration ensured that COVID-19 protocols were followed.

Addressing the gathering, DC Suraj Kumar said, presented the status report of various development schemes being run in the district. “Will aim to help reach the welfare schemes of the government to the last person of the society,” added DC.   

Potka MLA Sanjeev Sardar said, the state government will fulfill all the promises made during the election.

Baharagora MLA Sameer Mohanty while addressing the gathering said, during the Corona pandemic Chief Minister Hemant Soren has led by example which is praiseworthy. The current government has started working for the welfare of the poor and will ensure that people are not deprived of the benefits. 

Street show was conducted under the aegis of District Public Relation Department which made the people aware about coronavirus and how one can remain safe.

State level program was broadcasted live through an LED near the main stage and an LED in the middle ground. At the same time, beneficiaries of various schemes from East Singhbhum district attended the program in Ranchi. 

Circular enclosures were made in front of the stalls of different departments which heldped keep the crowd at bay. Administration ensured availability of sanitizer and mask at all stalls.

Kumar said that 739 schemes worth Rs 479.69 crores were inaugurated online while foundation stone for 10 schemes worth Rs 39.95 crores were laid. 

At the same time, through the stalls of 30 departments, people were given information about various public welfare schemes run by the state government.

ADM Law and Order Nandkishore Lal, Director DRDA Saurav Kumar Sinha, District Planning Officer Ajay Kumar, District Transport Officer Dinesh Ranjan, Special Officer JNAC Krishna Kumar and others were present on the occasion.
