70% corruption can be abolished through I.T. based services: Raghubar Das

Ranchi, Sept 15: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the Govt. runs on accountable administration & transparency.

Owing to these factors, a dynamic change has been observed in Jharkhand in these 8 months. He said that the C.I.I., World Bank & DIPP have certified these changes; though much team effort is required.

Referring to the Prime Ministerís vision on boosting Information Technology, he said that mobile governance should be boosted up, he said while inaugurating Mobile Governance, Jharseva & I.T. enabled services at Project Building in Ranchi on Tuesday.

He said that by the next 15th November, mobile M.M.S. Van facility will be dedicated to the people. Referring to the mobile service starting from today, the CM said that Jharkhand has become the first state where Aadhar based Mid-Day Meal monitoring system has been implemented.

It will enable the govt. to view the condition of mid-day meal, presence of teachers/ children, provided food stuff/ eatables & the condition of dropouts in the school.

He mentioned that the parent of child will be informed through SMS in case a child is found absent. The CM said that the govt. has activated today on line monitoring system of Guarantee to Service Act as promised. He said that 70% corruption can be abolished through I.T. based services. He summoned the people to help the govt. in eradicating corruption.

Principal Secretary, Planning-cum-Finance Amit Khare praised the new work culture of the state & said that team work only can make Jharkhand a prosperous state.

The I.T. Secretary Sunil Kumar Burnwal said that Mobile Governance Month will be celebrated in the state from 15th October to 15 November 2015 & during the period, the govt. will endeavor to bring all I.T. enabled services on a single platform.

He said that 10 apps will be developed by N.I.C., J.S.A.C. & Jap I.T. to monitor people- govt. dialogue & inter-departmental coordination.

On this occasion, Principal Secretary, RDD N.N. Sinha, Principal Secretary, Planning-cum-Finance Amit Khare, Secretary, School Education & Literacy Mrs. Aradhana Patnayak, Secretary, Building Construction Department K. K. Soan, Personnel Secretary Ratan Kumar, Secretary, Food & Supply Department Vinay Kr. Choubey, Project Director, Jharkhand Shiksha Pariyojana Hansraj Singh, I.T. Director U.P.Sah, N.I.C. state I.T. officer Md. Shahid Ahmad & othere officers were present in great number.
