73 students pass intermediate exam, Kali Agarwal crowned topper

Jamshedpur, July 5: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on July 5 announced the results for Chartered Accountants (CA) final and intermediate May 2023 examinations.
A total of 240 students appeared for the final exam from the Jamshedpur Branch of which 68 students cleared the CA exam. Swastika Chetani has been crowned the city topper.
Many students also appeared for either the first or second group (CA final) out of which a total of 39 students passed.
A total of 359 students appeared for the CA Inter examination from Jamshedpur branch of which 73 students cleared the exam and entered the CA Final. Several students appeared for the first group and second group of which a total of 52 students passed.
Some of the students who cleared the exam are Tanishk Agarwal, Tanumay Gorai, Saurav Kumar, Aditya Kumar Singh, NischaL Giri, Rahul Sakuja, Dinkey Mittal, Keshav Sharma, Shobha Khandelwal etc.
CA Ankita Agarwal, Branch Chairperson of the Jamshedpur chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) congratulated students and wished them a bright future. She also cheered up the students who could not clear the exam this time and urged them to work hard for the next attempt.
This year, a total of 57067 candidates appeared for the group 1 exam and 61844 for group 2 in CA final exam across the country. However, 6795 candidates cleared the group 1 exam (11.91%), and 19438 cleared the group 2 exam (31.43%).
A total of 8.33 percent candidates passed both groups of the final CA exams. A total of 25841 candidates had appeared for the exams, out of which 2152 passed. Across the country, a total of 13430 candidates have qualified as Chartered Accountants.
In the CA Intermediate result declared today, a total of 1,00,781 students appeared in Group A out of which 19,103 have been declared pass. While 81,956 students appeared for group B exams out of which 19,208 cleared the exam. The overall pass percentage of both groups stands at 10.24 percent
Jain Akshay Ramesh has secured All India Rank 1 in the CA Final result declared today. He secured 616 marks out of 800 in the final results.
