64 youths of Kolhan get mobile repair training

Jamshedpur: As many as 64 youths from Kolhan were given 440 hours of mobile repair training under the aegis of Venture Skill India Private Limited. The training concluded with the placement of all the trainees in Flaxtronics India Private Limited, a mobile manufacturing company, on Thursday. The training was imparted to the youths under the Jharkhand Skill Development Mission.

East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar was present to congratulate the successful trainees and see them off for Chennai. The trainees include only four youths of general category.

The DC said the state government wants to empower the youths of Jharkhand by giving them skill training and later placing them in different companies. Training programmes are being run continuously by the government, he said.
