Jamshedpur, May 7: A 55 year-old man, identified as Ashwini Maity, committed suicide by hanging self to death in Kishorinagar, Hume Pipe Basti, under Sitaramdera police station area on Saturday, police said.
Cops said Maity was an auto-driver and was used to drinking. Around 2.30 pm, he was found hanging from the ceiling of his room. His wife had gone to the local market and his son had gone to take his 12th Board exams.
Police sent the body of the deceased to MGM Medical College for post mortem examination.
