Jamshedpur: East Singhbhum district administration is all set to organize a 50 km long human chain on 26th April to spread awareness among voters and ensure their greater participation in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
SDO Dhalbhum cum Nodal Officer for SVEEP, Chandan Kumar, appealed to the people of the district to participate in the human chain programme in large numbers to ensure its grand success. He said the event would be successful if everyone participates in it.
The SDO also appealed to various social and academic organizations across the city to lend support to the event. He said the purpose of the programme is to raise the level of awareness among voters of Jamshedpur Parliamentary constituency.
The SDO said the district administration was running a slew of programmes to spread greater awareness among the voters.
