Jamshedpur: In observance of World Mental Health Day, the Substance Abuse Committee, WINS, and Sanitation Committee of the Rotary Club of Jamshedpur conducted a joint session at KPS, Kadma, involving various branches of KPS. The event featured keynote speakers Dr. Rajeev Bhushan Singh and Dr. Pooja Mohanty, who shared valuable insights on mental health.
The session began with an introductory talk by Dr. Neena Gupta, who emphasized the importance of maintaining good mental health. This was followed by an address from Rotary Club of Jamshedpur President M L Chawla. Dr. Rajeev focused on the topic of “Anger in Teens and School Students,” providing practical tips for anger management.

Dr. Pooja and her team engaged students in an interactive activity session, addressing stress management and prevention techniques. The event also included drawing and slogan competitions, which saw enthusiastic participation from a large number of students.
The occasion was graced by the school’s chairman, Sharat Chandran, along with ML Chawla, Satnam Kaur Kapula, Manju Singh, Purvi Parikh, Meenu Raisurana, and teachers, with nearly 450 students from various KPS branches in attendance.
