Ranchi, April 5: Under the state government’s ambitious Jharkhand Chief Minister Maiya Samman Yojana, 4.31 lakh of Ranchi district have been given a lump sum honorarium of Rs 7500 for the first quarter (January, February and March).
This amount has been transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.
In all 3,08,282 women got Aadhaar based payment .
According to the data shared by the district administration, out of a total of 4.31 lakh beneficiary women, 308282 were transferred the amount to their Aadhaar linked accounts, while the remaining 123111 women were paid on the basis of their bank account details.
The administration ensured that most of the beneficiaries receive the honorarium before Holi. Deputy Commissioner Ranchi Manjunath Bhajantri informed that from April 2025, only those beneficiaries will be paid under the scheme whose bank accounts are linked to Aadhaar. He has urged all the beneficiaries to get their bank accounts linked to Aadhaar as soon as possible, so that there is no inconvenience in future and the benefits are available uninterruptedly.
Bhajantri has instructed all the Block Development Officers (BDOs) and Circle Officers (COs) of the district to complete the verification of the beneficiaries as soon as possible as per the rules. Circle Officers of urban areas have also been instructed to coordinate with the branch of Women and Child Development Department (CDPO) to deliver the verification form to the beneficiaries and complete the verification.
