Jamshedpur, April 23: Around 300 students from various schools across the city are set to participate in the upcoming APR Nair Sports Seminar, scheduled to be held on April 28 at APJ Kalam High School in Jawahar Nagar. The event is being organized by Aman Welfare Society with the aim of promoting sports education and helping students explore career opportunities in the field of sports.
Details of the event were shared during a press conference held in Mango on Wednesday by Dr. Pratish Rahi, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, and Dr. Afroz Shakeel, President of the Committee. Other members present at the briefing included Md Tahir Hussain, Shahid Akhtar, and Saqir Khan.
The seminar will feature renowned sports personalities including former international cricketer Saurabh Tiwary, former international handball player Firoz Khan, and international handball coach Hasan Imam Malik as keynote speakers. They will share their experiences and insights into sports careers.
International boxer Lakshmi Padia will also be present to inspire and encourage young girls to pursue sports. The event will also introduce students to new and emerging courses such as sports management.
