30-year-old man shot dead near temple at Birsanagar

Jamshedpur, Jan. 23 : A 30-year-old man was shot dead by two bike-borne criminals at Birsanagar under the same police station area on Tuesday morning. The body of the murder victim could not be identified yet, but police claim that he had a criminal background as a pistol was recovered from his waist. The incident took place when the murder victim was standing in front the temple with his bike.
The assailants had fired as many as four shots, one of them hit in the victim’s chest. Soon after committing the crime, the criminals fled toward Baridih by riding the bike.

A police party rushed to the spot, and rushed the victim to MGM Medical College Hospital where the doctors declared him as brought dead. It was during the search of the victim’s body that the police recovered the pistol which had been thrusted in his waist.

Birsanagar police station OC, Upendra Narayan Singh rushed the victim to the hospital. Subsequently, City SP, Prabhat Kumar arrived at the spot and inspected the spot.
There were marks of gun-shots in the mobiile phone shop close to which the murder took place. The shop belonged to Sunny Boipai, a 25-year-old youth who resides at his house behind the shop. Kumar talked to the shop-keepers and also to Sunny for knowing whether he had any enmity with anyone.
” The investigation is all. We cannot say anything. The man who was killed had a pistol and his identity is yet to be established,” said the City SP.
