3 nabbed  in twin snatching case in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, November 13: While investigating two separate incidents of snatching that took place on Dhanteras on November 10 in Telco police station area, three people involved in it have been arrested.

Looted mobile phones, cash and numberless bike used in the crime have also been recovered from them.

ASP Sumit Aggarwal said to the media that two incidents of snatching had taken place near Bhuvaneshwari Temple and Telco Gurudwara in Telco police station area, in which two criminals riding on a bike without number snatched mobile phones and purses from two people including a woman.

In this, the victims Sushil Kumar Das, resident of Birsanagar and Amrita Kumari Gupta, resident of Lotus Vivekananda Garden, resident of Govindpur, had lodged an FIR in this regard at Telco police station.

Telco police station team, along with the team of Birsanagar police station, took immediate action in the case and arrested two criminals involved in both the crimes, Sunny Singh alias Bachkani, resident of Vidyapati Nagar Shiv Mandir under Sidgora police station and Manish Rajak resident of Bhuiandih Gwala Basti Brahmin Tola under Sidgora police station.

Later, during the interrogation, on the basis of the confessional statement of both of them, the police also recovered the mobile phones snatched during the incident, the clothes worn by both of them at the time of the incident, the bike used by them and Rs 600 left among the snatched money.

Apart from this, the police have also arrested Rohit Kumar alias Bonga, who lives in a rented house in Bhuiyandih Lakdi Tall, who provided him the numberless bike.

Both Sunny and Manish Rajak have old criminal history.
