3 killed, one injured in car-bus collision in Jharkhand’s Gumla

Gumla, June 3: Three people have died in a road accident in Sadar police station area of Gumla district of Jharkhand, while a girl has been injured.

It is being told that a car and bus collided head-on near Khora village. With the help of local people, the injured were brought to the hospital after the accident, where doctors declared three people dead, while a girl was injured.

The girl Josephine Minj (6 years) travelling in the car was injured. The deceased include Father Theodore Kujur (58 years), Sister Nirmala Kujur (45 years) and Kevin Johnson Kujur (12 years). All of them were sent to Sadar Hospital Gumla with the help of local people, where doctors declared all three dead during primary treatment.

When the Christian followers got the news of the death of three people in the Gumla road accident, a large number of people gathered in Sadar Hospital Gumla.

According to the information received about the incident, all the people had left Ranchi in an XUV vehicle to go to Barwadih Jari. All three died due to a direct collision between the XUV vehicle and the  bus near Khora village at around three in the afternoon. Josephine Minj was injured in this accident.

Along with the Christian followers present in the Sadar Hospital, Central Catholic Sabha President Set Kumar Ekka also reached Sadar Hospital. He told that Father Theodore Kujur was born in Raigarh. Regarding Sister Nirmala Kujur, it is being told that the Fathers of Jashpur have been informed about this. As soon as they got the news, they left for Gumla.
