Jamshedpur, October 24. Police recovered a dead body from Barabanki Dam under MGM police station on Tuesday.
However, the said body was identified on Wednesday as that of 26-year-old Julius Biruli, resident of Birsanagar Zone No. 6. Julius was missing since Sunday.
The family came to know about this on Wednesday when Julius’s friends handed over Julius’ mobile and other belongings to his family. The family members have accused Julius’s associates of murdering him and throwing the body in the dam. Injuries were also found on Julius’s body.
As soon as the information was received, the police also detained his three associates. According to the information received, Julius had left home with his friends on Sunday itself. On Tuesday, the police found a dead body from the dam which was kept in the post-mortem house.
On Wednesday, family members identified Julius. The family members told the police that Julius’s friends brought Julius’s mobile phone and other belongings to their home and said that these things were given by Julius himself. The police have started investigating the matter.
