Jamshedpur, June 23: State food and civil supplies minister Saryu Roy said he had set up 23 committees to keep a watch on basic civic amenities in Jamshedpur West assembly constituency. Five committees each would work in Mango and Azadnagar while seven would work in Olidih. Two committees each would work in Kadma and Sonari while one committee would work in Sakchi, he said.
Roy said each committee would have a convenor to monitor its work. He further said JUusco had started cleaning of all major drains in the constituency in view of monsoon. Electricity department has also been asked to submit updated report for the meeting going to be convened by him on 1st July.
