Ranchi, April 23: In a significant update on the electoral front, Chief Electoral Officer K Ravi Kumar provided insights into the nomination process conducted on Tuesday in Jharkhand. Kumar revealed that a total of 11 nomination forms were purchased across various constituencies in the state on April 23.
Among the districts, Singhbhum witnessed the purchase of 4 nomination forms, followed by 4 in Khunti, 7 in Lohardaga, and 5 in Palamu. Subsequently, 3 candidates each filed their nominations from Singhbhum, Lohardaga, and Palamu, while 2 candidates submitted their forms in Khunti.
With these latest developments, the tally of candidates filing nominations for the fourth phase of elections in Jharkhand has reached 21. The press conference, where this information was disclosed, was also attended by Additional Chief Electoral Officer Neha Arora.
