Jamshedpur, November 27. Locals caught two youths riding a bike who were running away after snatching the chain from the neck of Babakuti resident Manju Kumari, who was going on foot near Star Talkies under Burmamines police station, and handed her over to the police.
The incident happened late Sunday evening. Here, the police arrested the accused and sent them to jail on Monday. The arrested accused include Bilendra Rajak, resident of Parsudih Namotola and his partner Rahul Soni, resident of Golpahari. The police have also seized the bike of the accused and the woman’s chain has also been recovered.
According to the information received, Manju was returning from her work to her home in Babakuti. Then the miscreants riding the bike from behind snatched the chain and started running away.
Meanwhile, the local people caught him and handed him over to the police.
