Jamshedpur, Nov 20: Karim City College, Sakchi, organised a successful campus placement drive in association with JMS Mining Pvt. Ltd. for B.Com graduates. A total of 52 students were shortlisted and interviews were conducted by Finance Department HR Head Ashish and CA Manish Agarwal.
Principal Dr Mohammed Reyaz motivated the candidates during the inaugural session. Eventually, 18 students were selected, each offered an annual package of Rs 3 lakh, along with additional benefits such as medical insurance, group personal accident insurance, term life cover and company-provided accommodation and meals.
The placement drive was coordinated by Dr Anwar Shahab (Chief Coordinator, Employment Enhancement Unit), Dr G Vijayalakshmi (Coordinator, Placement Cell), Dr Rashmi Akhtar, Dr Aftab Alam and Dr Fauzia Tabassum, who ensured a smooth process.
Faculty members congratulated the selected students and termed the achievement a matter of pride for the college. The administration said the success reflects the institution’s commitment to enhancing students’ career opportunities.
