Jamshedpur: Training for teachers under the Jharkhand ‘L’ Zone continued for the second consecutive day at DAV NIT, Adityapur, with the participation of around 165 teachers from six DAV institutions of the Jamshedpur division. The programme is being organised under the guidance of DAV Centre of Academic Excellence, New Delhi, with teachers from DAV Gua, Chiria, Jhinkpani, Bahragora, Noamundi and NIT Adityapur taking part.

The second day’s session began with a havan and chanting of Vedic mantras. Addressing the teachers, Jharkhand ‘L’ Zone Jamshedpur Division’s Regional Assistant Officer Rekha Kumari said the training programme was made possible due to the strong academic management system of the DAV organisation.
“Teachers must be skilled in transforming knowledge into meaningful learning for students and explaining concepts effectively,” she said. She added that in the present era of rapid educational change and digital access, teaching has become more challenging than ever. “The role of teachers is crucial in shaping education and they must continuously upgrade their skills to provide practical, effective and impactful learning,” she stressed.
