Jamshedpur, Feb 19: A 16 year old boy, Somnath Verma, a resident of Harharguttu under Bagbera police station committed suicide in his house by hanging himself with a dhoti tied to a wooden beam. He was the son of garage mechanic Santosh Verma. On receipt of information, relatives arrived at the house and rushed Somnath to Sadar Hospital where doctors after checkup pronounced him dead. According to information, Somnath Verma was a class eight student of of St Peter School. The report also stated that he was very stubborn by nature.
It was stated that on Friday morning Somnath had asked for Rs 10 from his mother who said that she would give him the money in the evening. in the evening when he asked for the money again, his mother refused to give it to him. Reportedly, he went inside a room and with a dhoti tied to a wooden beam, hanged himself. Somnath was the eldest of four siblings including two sisters.
