Jamshedpur: SCCN News Channel and United Football Association, Manifit (UFA) will organise one-day 14th Mohan Memorial Flood Light Football Tournament at DVC ground in Manifit on 1st October.
A total of 32 teams will participate in the tournament. This was informed by Prashant Singh Putul, organizer of the event.
Addressing a press conference at SCCN News Office on Sunday, Singh said the matches will be played on 7-a-side team and every match will be of 15 minutes duration and incase of draw the winner will be decided through penalty shootout.
He informed that the participating teams must bring their jersey and football. Every team will have to pay Rs 2500 as entry fee for which registration is open till September 26.
The winning team will get a cash prize of Rs 35,001 while the runner-up team will get Rs 25001 and trophy. The organizers will also felicitate every Man of the Match, Best Scorer and Best Goalkeeper of the event. The matches will be conducted by the referees of Jamshedpur Sporting Association.
