Jamshedpur, Sept 25: The management of Beldih Church School refuted allegations of suspending 17 students for chanting Jai Shriram on its campus on Wednesday.

In a press statement, the school Principal L Peterson said, No student has been suspended from our school. The students were bunking a library class and they were asked to call their parents. This step was taken just to inform the parents about their childs activities in school as the Board exams are going to start soon. The matter has been portrayed wrongly.

The Principal also sent a reply to the district education department after getting a notice regarding the alleged suspension of students.

Sources said the parents of students allegedly facing disciplinary action from school were called this morning to send their wards to school. Few students reached school. Others are expected to come tomorrow, sources said.
