Jamshedpur, Feb 9: Jamshedpur Women’s University hosted a placement drive organized by ATC Tyres (Yokohama Tyres), offering significant career opportunities to students. A total of 246 students from BA, BSc, BCom, and postgraduate courses registered for the recruitment process.
The drive began with a pre-placement talk by company representatives, who briefed students about the organization, job roles, and growth prospects. This was followed by a structured selection process, after which 121 candidates were shortlisted. In the final round, 111 students were selected for employment at the company’s manufacturing plant in Bharuch, Gujarat.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Anjila Gupta congratulated the selected students and appreciated the efforts of the Placement Cell. The entire programme was coordinated by Placement Cell Coordinator Dr. Ratna Mitra along with her team. The event proved to be a valuable platform for students aspiring to build careers in the industrial sector.
