Jamshedpur, Dec 14: Centre for Excellence & Celluloid Chapter of Jamshedpur with the help of Tata Steel kicked off the 100 years of Indian Cinema celebrations in Tata Auditorium on Saturday, December 14. Chief Guest for the occasion TV Narendran, MD Tata Steel along with Dr. Ira Bhaskar, Professor Cinema Studies & Dean, JNU inaugurated the event.
The two day event on December 14 and 15 will be followed by week long film shows from December 16 to 22. On Saturday, December 14 Dr. Ira Bhaskar, professor, Cinema Studies & Dean, JNU presented film clips while on day 2 at CFE panel discussion with noted directors Imtiaz Ali, Vikramaditya Motwane and Ashoke Vishwanathan will be held.
