Jamshedpur, Dec 14: Volleyball Challenge for Men, Women, School Children & Union Members organized under Tata Motors Sports 2013-14 concluded on Saturday, 14th December, 2013 at Volleyball court near Telco Gymnasium.
In School Category the Final Match was played between Shiksha Niketan School and Vivek Vidyalaya. Vivek Vidyalaya beat Shiksha Niketan School comprehensively by 2-1 sets with a score of 25-23, 25-14 & 15-8.
In Inter-Team (Women) Category the Final match was played between Tata Cummins and Safari Royals. Tata Cummins emerged victorious in two straight sets 25-09 & 25-13.
In Union Category the Final match was played between TML Drivelines and Truck-I. Truck-I beat TML Drivlines (B) beat by 2-1 sets with a score of 25-23, 25-20 & 15-13.
While in Inter-Team (Men) Category the Final Match was played between Indigo Fighters and Safari Royals. Both the teams played well and displayed high quality team spirit on the field.
However, it was Team Safari Royals, who kept their nerves cool and won the finals with 3 � 1 sets with a score of 25-20, 23-25, 26-28 & 23-25. Ritesh Kumar was the wonder boy of the tournament from Safari Royals.
On the occasion, K Mohan Kumar, GM (Manufacturing) & Capt. P J Singh, GM (Administration), Tata Motors, felicitated the winners & runners-up of the Tournament.
