Jamshedpur, Feb 2: Zonal IG Pankaj Kamboj reached the city here on Thursday and visited the crime branch of district police headquarters. He arrived at SSP Office at 11.50 am and went directly to the crime branch and inspected it for half an hour.
He issued instructions to senior district police officials on crime control and disposal of pending cases. Kolhan DIG Ajay Linda and SSP Prabhat Kumar welcomed the IG. The IG was given guard of honour on his arrival.
All DSPs and several officers-in-charge of police stations were present during his visit. The IG held a crime meeting with the district police officials till late evening.
