Yuva Sangam at NIT Jamshedpur: Students from Port Blair reaches campus 

 Jamshedpur: Under the second phase of Yuva Sangam programme, a group of 45 students from Dr. B.R.  Ambedkar Institute of Technology and other premier educational institutions of Port Blair have reached NIT Jamshedpur.  The group will get hands-on experience about Jharkhand tourism, tradition, progress, interaction, technology apart from local art and culture from April 24 to May 1, 2023.

A  group of students, who had come for the Yuva Sangam program being organised under the ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ campaign, were warmly welcomed at the NIT campus.  Under the programme, this group of students from various educational institutions of Port Blair will share their experiences.  Along with this, they will be able to know about the experience, art and culture of the people at the local level.  During the program where the group will visit different areas, they will also enjoy local sports.  The Yuva Sangam program aims to strengthen people-to-people contact, especially among the youth of different states and to acquaint them with the culture and values of India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had envisioned ‘One India, Best India’, to make it come true, this special campaign is being run by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.  The second phase has been started after the stupendous success of the first phase.

The main objective of the programme is to provide a platform for young people to interact with experts from various fields and learn about career opportunities, skill development, and entrepreneurship.

The programme brings together young people from different parts of the country and provides them with opportunities to engage in activities such as workshops, panel discussions, and networking events. The participants are also provided with mentoring and coaching by experienced professionals in their chosen fields.

Yuva Sangam focuses on developing skills and capabilities in areas such as leadership, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving. The programme also aims to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among the youth of the country.

The programme is open to all young people between the ages of 18 and 29 and is conducted at various locations across the country. The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports works with various partner organizations to implement the programme and provide the necessary resources and support.

Overall, Yuva Sangam is an important initiative that seeks to empower the youth of India and provide them with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in today’s rapidly changing world.
