Jamshedpur: A mahila haat (women�s market) was organized in Chakri village of Potka under the aegis of Youth Unity for Voluntary Action (YUVA) on Saturday.
The purpose of the programme was to provide a platform to local self help group members to sell their products and exhibit them.
Women of local villages not only get a sense of satisfaction but also earn self respect, YUVA members said.
The outfit secretary Barnali Chakravarty said the women were motivated after the sale of their wares.
