Yugantar Bharti’s Subarnarekha mahotsav begins today

Jamshedpur, Jan. 13: A voluntary outfit, Yugantar Bharti, working for environment prevention held a meeting at its Bistupur situated office on Friday.

The meeting was headed by treasurer of the outfit, Ashok Goyal.

The meeting focused on the Nadi Pujan to be held at Domohani river ghat in Sonari as part of the ‘Subarnarekha mahotsav’ Saturday, January 14 from 10 am onwards.

At the Nadi Pujan, state food and civil supplies minister Saryu Rai, treasurer of Yugantar Bharti Ashok Goyal, Environmentalist Dinesh Mishra and senior journalist Ratan Joshi will be present.

Also present at the meeting was Ashutosh Rai, Pappu Singh, Raghvendra Pratap Singh, Sunny Singh and others. The NGO is celebrating the 12th edition of Subernarekha Mahotsava (an annual event that celebrates Subernarekha and promotes the cause of river conservation) on January 14 on the confluence of Kharkai and Subarnarekha (Domohani).

The outfit will d also hold a seminar on environmental issues at Sri Krishna Public Sansthan in Bistupur on January 15.
