Ranchi, Jan. 13: Chief Minister Raghubar Das here on Friday said that 45,000 personnel will be appointed in different departments of state government in the coming days.
“The process of appointment against vacancies started after the BJP-led government swore in. The government has taken a serious view of the manpower crisis in different departments. We want to fill up the vacant posts soon,” said the CM.
Addressing the newly appointed officers, the CM said that they should be the flag bearers of positive change in the nation.
Das also distributed appointment letters to 91 mobile veterinary officers and four assistant jailors. He said that service to the people should be motto of the officers. He asked the newly appointed vets and assistant jailors to do their work sincerely and congratulated them for their future.
Referring to animal husbandry as an industry, the CM said the newly appointed vet should prepare figures of animals in villages with the help of gram panchayats. He said that bio gas plants will generate electricity as well as prepare bio-fertilizer which will be used in agriculture purposes.
It will boost up the farmer’s income.
Agriculture Minister Randhir Kumar Singh said the government has set a production target of 9 crore eggs. “2,000 women groups will be connected with goat rearing. The government is also working on improving the breed of the animals. 20,000 cows have been tagged and the rest will be tagged in future,” he said.
Principal Secretary, Home, S. K. G. Rahate said that after formation of the state, jailors have been appointed for the first time. Physical examination for 1364 posts is underway and will be completed soon.
CS Raj Bala Verma, Agriculture Secretary Nitin Madan Kulkarni, Agriculture Special Secretary Pooja Singhal, Jail IG Suman Gupta, Assistant Jail IG Dipak Vidyarthi and other were present on the occasion.
