Jamshedpur: Members of Yugantar Bharati will be celebrating Swarnarekha Mahotsava, a grand festival held annually to save the rivers from pollution and conserve the environment, from 10th January to 15th January.
They held a meeting to chalk out plans for the forthcoming event at Bistupur on Monday. The meeting was presided over by the outfit treasurer Ashok Goel. It was decided to join more people to the campaign for reducing river pollution and spreading awareness among the people.
Goel said that Yugantar Bharati has been working in the field of environment conservation since past many years. Swarnarekha Mahotsava is being celebrated for the last 11 years. Among those present during the meeting included Ashutosh Rai, Pappu Singh, Raghvendra Pratap Singh and Sunny Singh.
