Gamharia: Police recovered the body of a 25 year old youth, identified as Jeetu Kumar Prasad, son of Upendra Prasad, from a pond in Jagannathpur Basti, Gamharia.
Cops said the youth went missing on Thursday last.
The family members of the deceased had informed police about the youth�s disappearance. The youth�s body was found floating in the pond this morning.
Cops sent the body to the government hospital for postmortem examination. They said the deceased had suffered head injury which indicates he was murdered.
Several persons were detained by police in this connection.
