Youth trying to steal bike from Tatanagar Station nabbed

Jamshedpur : A 28-year-old youth was caught red-handed while trying to steal a bike from the Tatanagar Station’s parking area under government railway police, Tatanagar.

The accused who was arrested has been identified a Dilip Sahu, a resident of Baba Kutir in Bagbera. Officer-in-charge, GRP, Tatanagar, Ramendra Kumar Thakur said that Suresh Kumar of Birsanagar had Saturday gone to Calcutta having parked his bike at the station parking area. ” Kumar returned and went over to the spot where he had parked the vehicle, he found a youth was breaking the lock of the bike.

It was about 8.30 am when he kept on watching the act of the youth and saw him starting to ride the bike. In the meantime, he raised alarm, leading the some railway policemen and parking staff to swing into action and catch him,” said Thakur.

The officer-in-charge said that soon the accused was handed over to the railway police station and after interrogation he was forwarded to the jail in the afternoon.
