Jamshedpur: A youth stabbed a woman after the latter refused to yield to his advances on Tuesday in Parsudih police station area.
The victim was rushed to MGM Hospital in serious condition. Cops have detained a youth in this connection. They are searching for the accused, Mangal Das, who attacked the woman, Anita, near the railway tracks in the morning.
Anita was severely injured in the incident. Anita got married to Srikant Majumdar on 3rd March last. She was approached by Mangal Das near Sopodera.
Local residents took her to the hospital. Parsudih police have registered an FIR against Mandal Das.
