‘Youth Skill Sports Fest’ lights up NTTF with enthusiasm and team spirit

Jamshedpur: The RDATA Technical Institute in Golmuri recently played host to a vibrant two-day ‘Youth Skill Sports Fest,’ where the spirit of competition and camaraderie took center stage. The event, inaugurated by Jharkhand Boxing Association Secretary Anand Bihari Dubey, witnessed an array of exciting sports activities showcasing the talent and skill of participating students.
Chief Guest Anand Bihari Dubey, in his address, emphasized the integral role of sports in life, stating that it not only injects energy but also underscores the importance of determination and hard work in achieving goals. The principal of the institute, Preeta John, joined the chief guest in inaugurating the Sports Fest, marking the beginning of two days filled with spirited performances.
Students from various schools, including Ramakrishna Mission English School, Tribal Plus Two High School, and Peepal High School, participated in games such as football, volleyball, kho-kho, and kabaddi, showcasing remarkable teamwork and sportsmanship.

Vivek Vidyalaya Govindpur secured the first position in the boys’ category for volleyball, with Vidya Bharati Chinmaya claiming the second position. In the girls’ volleyball category, Ramakrishna Mission High School emerged victorious, while Sister Nivedita High School secured the second position.
The Kabaddi competition in the boys’ category witnessed a fierce battle between Chinmaya Vidyalaya and Vivek Vidyalaya, with Chinmaya Vidyalaya emerging as the winners. In the girls’ Kabaddi category, Adivasi Plus Two School faced off against Bal Gyan Peeth, with Adivasi Plus Two High School emerging as the champions.

The event received commendable support from individuals such as Ramesh Rai, Shivaprasad, BP Acharya, and many others who contributed to the success of the ‘Youth Skill Sports Fest.’
