Jamshedpur, May 24: Unidentified assailants shot dead an unidentified youth near Railway Yard close to Muslim Basti under Adityapur police station area on Tuesday.
The broad daylight incident transpired when police recovered the body of the youth from the Railway Yard on being intinmated from local residents. The criminals shot the victim in his chest from close range.
Police recovered a pellet from the crime scene. They are yet to identify the deceased. An FIR has been registered against unidentified persons in this connection.
