Jamshedpur: A youth shot dead his friend on the charges of stealing a mobile phone in the Bistupur police limits.
According to reports, one Vishal Prasad was shot dead by his friend Abhishek Lal. Vishal was taken to TMH for treatment after the incident where the doctors declared him dead.
Vishal’s father Mahaveer Prasad has accused Vishal’s friend Abhishek of the murder. At present, the police are conducting raids to arrest the accused. Vishal’s father Mahaveer Prasad said that Abhishek had been making ruckus since morning accusing Vishal of stealing his mobile phone. Late on Saturday night he took Vishal with him and shot him dead near the house.
At the same time, Vishal’s mother Poonam said that Abhishek had become friends with Vishal a few days ago. The friendship between the two was going well. Suddenly on Saturday morning, Abhishek came to their house and was accusing Vishal of stealing the mobile. During this time, Abhishek also created a ruckus in the house and threatened to kill Vishal. Vishal’s mother said that Abhishek e showed a pistol and threatened to Viishal. Even late on Saturday night, Abhishek was making threatening calls to his house and calling Abhishek to meet him, but Abhishek did not go. Vishal’s mother said that Abhishek once again came to their house and took Vishal with him when he did not meet after talking on the phone.
Later in the night, local people came home and told the family that Vishal had been shot by someone and he was taken to TMH for treatment.
The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem and are conducting raids to arrest the accused. Police say that the accused will be arrested soon.
