Jamshedpur, Sept 22: Nikhil Namta, an 18-year-old resident of Ghatsila, who was injured in a road accident under Bodam police station area, passed away on Friday while undergoing treatment at TMH. The accident had occurred on August 31 when Nikhil was returning home with his friends after visiting the Hathikheda Temple in Bodam. He was hit and critically injured by an unidentified vehicle.
Nikhil was initially admitted to MGM Hospital for treatment and was later transferred to TMH for advanced medical care. Nikhil Namta died while under treatment.
