Youth found dead near Jamshedpur

Seraikela, Nov 19: The body of a young man was recovered on Wednesday morning near Regadih village under Tilopda Panchayat in the Kuchai police station area.

The body was spotted around 8 am lying by the roadside beneath a small hill on the route from Regadih to Bandolohar Panchayat.

The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Hapawar Dayakar, a resident of Amar Singh Thoda village in Maoubad district of Telangana.

He had been working as an Assistant Branch Post Master at the Galudih Post Office in Kuchai since 2024 and was staying in a rented house in Regadih.

Local villagers first noticed the body and immediately informed the Kuchai police.

Acting on the information, Kuchai Police Station in-charge Narsingh Munda and Dalbhanga OP in-charge Ravindra Singh Munda reached the spot with a team and took stock of the situation.

The body was later sent to Sadar Hospital, Seraikela, for post-mortem.

According to Station In-charge Narsingh Munda, preliminary observation suggests that the youth may have died in a road accident.

However, the exact cause of death will be confirmed only after the post-mortem report is received.

The police have also informed the deceased’s family about the incident.
