Youth fest starts at KPS, Mango

Jamshedpur : Students of Kerala Public School, Mango kick-started its two-day youth fest in the school premises on Friday.

The two-day fest kicked off with around 200 student participants from classes IV to X. Mrs. Durgesh Nandani, CDPO cum Women’s Protection Officer was the Chief Guest on the Inaugural Ceremony.

“Students must dream big, which will make then win bigger challenges in life. I hope students here will make institutions proud with their work in future,” said Mrs. Durgesh Nandani.

An array of events was lined up on the first day, ranging from painting to dance, Solo song, group and solo dance, debate, pot painting, fashion designing and cartooning.The bedazzling performances were graced by the Mr. Sharat Chandran, Director, Kerala Public Schools.

The luminaries gracing the occasion included teachers from Kerala Public School Gamharia and Burmamines, who were also the judges for different events.

“Such festivals go a long way in creating a positive ambience in the school, as these help develop a sense of teamwork,” said Principal, Kerala Public School, Mango.

The second day of Youth Festival saw effervescent and vivacious cultural live performances by children of Kerala Public School, mango, and a vivacious lively performance by Kerala Public School, mango rock band.

Mrs. Rashmi Sinha, Principal, Kerala Public School, Gamharia graced the event and distributed the prizes to the winners.Modesty House was the Overall Champion whereas Loyalty and Honesty shared the Runners-up trophy.

The cultural festivity ‘Youth Festival’ went on for two days from 13th December to 14th December 2013.
