Awareness campaign launched in Kasidih High School

Jamshedpur : Kasidih High School has organized the community development and awareness campaign ” Zimmedar Nagrik, Zimmedaar Saher” on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 9:00 -10:00 am at Community Centre ground, Kasidih , Jamshedpur.

The band group, the coir group of singing, the actring group went in a procession from Kasidih High School to the centre ground and performed the awareness show there.

The Chief guest was Mr. Ravi Shankar Pandey, Sr. Manager, CD & SW Services, Tata Steel, Kasidih Community centre’s Area Officer Mr. B. Marandi and Centre In charge Mrs. Tripti Acharya were also present on the occasion. Kasidih community centre extended it help for conducting this programme.

Mr. Francis Joseph, Principal of KAsidih High School, Co-ordinator Mr. Rakesh Pandey and Mr. Anand Kumar Singh, Moderators of community services, KHS – Mrs. L. Sandhya and Mrs. Sangeeta Sharma and teachers Mrs. Kaveri Chakraborty, Ms. Sulekha Kumari and Mrs. Reeta Mishra were present on the occasion.

A huge crowd comprising stakeholders of community centre, local community people were present on the occasion.

The programme has been organized to boost up awareness towards environment and community development among local people.

For this paper bags and leaflets have been distributed amongst people. It helped to arouse a feeling of belongingness towards nature ,, environment among our students.
