Youth Fest at KPS Kadma brings students� talent to the fore

Prosperity House crowned winner

Jamshedpur, Sept. 29: Kerala Public School, Kadma’s campus reverberated with loads of activities as the school hosted annual Youth Festival on September 28.  The event was inaugurated by Laxmi Sharat, Academic Director Kerala Public Schools in presence of Director Sharat Chandran, Principal Sharmila Mukherjee and the other dignitaries.

The theme of the day long fest was Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam- The world is one family.

The grand gala event began on an enthusiastic note which saw students displaying their creativity in different fields related to art and culture.

The KPS Kadma�s extravaganza included a number of on-stage events, like Group dance, Elocution, Group songs both Eastern and Western, Quiz, Extempore, Ice age and Thaw, Skits, Tableau. There were off stage events like Collage, Rangoli, Hair styling, Web designing, Origami, – literally there was one for everyone!

More than forty four events encapsulated the talent of our students, who were eagerly waiting to showcase their skills, aptitude and acumen.

Students, participated in various events round the year, and this culminated in the Annual Youth Festival.

More than 500 students bagged prizes for their scintillating performance which not only brought out their latent talent but also honed their competitive skills.

The fest also provided the students  an opportunity to showcase their ability in diverse fields.

The four houses Green-Prosperity, Blue-Peace, Red-Valour and Yellow-Wisdom vied with each other to lift the Championship trophy.

The Overall Champion Trophy was bagged by Prosperity House.  Runners up team were Peace House.

Vote of Thanks was extended by senior coordinator T Veena.
