Jamshedpur, June 1: In a shocking incident a 21-year-old youth fell down from a Mumbai-bound running train near Dukhu Market along the Jugsalai-Station Road under Jugsalai police station area early this morning.
The victim identified as Mohammed Sajjan was rushed to the MGM Medical College and Hospital for the injuries he sustained due to the fall from the running train.
A resident of Gauri Shankar Road, Sajjan worked in Mumbai. The victim has lost his left leg from the knee and sustained grievous head injuries. His right leg also badly damaged having multiple injuries. The victim’s brother said they did not whether it was an accident case or he slipped off the train.
The officer-in-charge, Jugsalai police station, Laxman Paswan confirmed they had rescued the injured youth from along the railway track near Dukhu Market.
“We took the injured to the MGM Medical College Hospital and also informed his family members by procuring his address from some papers which we got from his trouser’s pocket,” said the officer-in-charge.
