Jamshedpur, January 12: Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) observed National Youth Day with enthusiasm and reverence on January 12, marking the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, one of India’s greatest spiritual leaders and youth icons.
The programme was organised to inspire students to follow Swami Vivekananda’s ideals of self-belief, discipline, character building and service to society. Speaking on the occasion, school Principal Paramita Roy Chaudhary said that education should go beyond academic learning and focus on developing strong character and confidence among students.
Students Manayata Gupta and Nandini of Class 9A and Uma Shankar of Class 6C actively participated in the programme, sharing thoughts on youth empowerment and Swamiji’s teachings.
The celebration proved to be a meaningful and motivating experience for students and teachers alike, highlighting the school’s commitment to holistic education and youth development. The programme concluded with a brief address by Sushrita Paul, Moderator of the Interact Club.
