Jamshedpur: One Sheetal Mukhi tried to commit suicide by slitting his throat with a knife on Tuesday. The incident reportedly took place around 9 am.
According to his sister, Puja Mukhi, resident of Rajnagar, Raghunathpur, Sheetal�s behavior had been extremely erratic and abnormal since the past couple of days.
He was admitted to a local nursing home, where his condition degraded and he had to be referred to the MGM hospital. He is currently in a critical condition, sources said.
