Jamshedpur: Adhunik Power and Natural Resources Limited (APNRL), Padampur, a leading power generation company, celebrated the 11th International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm, embracing the global theme of ‘Yoga for One Earth, One Health’. The event, held on Saturday morning, witnessed active participation from officers, employees, and sensor personnel, all committed to promoting harmony and well-being through yoga.
The program commenced at 7 AM with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Chief Executive Officer, Arun Kumar Mishra. In his inaugural address, Mishra highlighted the significance of yoga as an ancient Indian tradition that remains vital in today’s fast-paced life. “Yoga is not merely a physical exercise, but a path to self-restraint, mental peace, and balance. Every individual should adopt it as a part of daily routine,” he said.

Approximately 115 employees and workers participated in the session, which was led by skilled yoga instructor Akanksha Bharti. She guided the attendees through a series of yogasanas, pranayama, and meditation techniques, including Tadasana, Trikonasana, Bhujangasana, Vajrasana, Anulom-Vilom, and mindfulness meditation. Bharti emphasized that yoga represents the unity of body and mind, fostering both physical health and spiritual strength.
The event saw a warm welcome extended by Anil Kumar Soni, Head of the HR Department, who appreciated the growing awareness and enthusiasm for yoga among employees. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Sanjeet Sinha from the CSR department. He encouraged everyone to continue practicing yoga regularly for a healthier life.
